A door that closes
Club Suite is your own space, with a sliding door. The older Club World seat sits in an open bay, often arranged so you face a stranger for the flight.
British Airways Club Suite
British Airways lists two very different Business Class seats under one cabin. The Club Suite filter keeps the newer suite, with its door and its flat bed, and sets the older Club World seat aside. It works in search, and in the alerts that watch for new seats.
Included with Premium and First Class. From $3.99 a month, with a 14-day free trial.
Club Suite is 1–2–1. Every seat faces the aisle, and every seat has a door.
The seat
Club Suite is your own space, with a sliding door. The older Club World seat sits in an open bay, often arranged so you face a stranger for the flight.
The suite converts to a fully flat bed, long enough for a proper night on a transatlantic or a flight to Asia. You land having slept, which is the point of spending Avios on Business Class.
Both seats are Business Class. The redemption price follows the route and the date. The filter is how you keep the newer seat when both are on offer.
The problem
A Business Class search on ba.com mixes Club Suite and the older Club World seat together. Availability for “Club World” can mean either product. The aircraft type is buried, and it changes.
Alerts
Tell SeatSpy the route, the dates and the number of seats. Tick Club Suite on the alert. We keep checking British Airways reward availability, up to a year ahead, and contact you when those seats show up.
You can spend the waiting time on the rest of the trip. The alert is there for the seat.
Use it for
New York, Chicago, Washington and the other east-coast flights are short nights. A door and a flat bed are the difference between arriving ready for the first meeting and arriving tired. Several flights that day can still be the older seat.
If the week is flexible, the year view shows every day with Business Class reward seats. The filter leaves the Club Suite days, so you pick a date around the aircraft rather than hoping the seat map is kind.
Reward seats on the routes people actually want are released, cancelled and snapped up all year. An alert with Club Suite ticked means you hear about the suite, and you can book it before it goes.
First Class members who hold a British Airways Premium Plus Companion Voucher can also see the extra Business Class availability that voucher unlocks, and still limit that search to Club Suite.
The calendar
Turn on Show Club Suite Only and the year-long calendar keeps the days with a Club Suite flight. Create an alert and tick Filter Business to Club Suite only, and we only write to you when that seat appears.

Questions
A SeatSpy feature on Premium and First Class that limits British Airways Business Class searches and alerts to flights with Club Suite, the newer Business Class cabin. Days and flights that only have the older Club World seat drop out of the results, so the calendar matches the seat you want to book.
Club Suite is British Airways' newer long-haul Business Class seat. It is a fully flat bed in a 1-2-1 layout, with a sliding privacy door, direct aisle access from every seat, a large entertainment screen, and more storage than the older Club World seat. The older seat is still fitted to part of the fleet, and British Airways lists both as Business Class.
Club Suite is priced as British Airways Business Class. The Avios amount follows the route, the date, and whether the flight is peak or off-peak, the same way Club World does. You are choosing the newer seat at the Business Class redemption price. SeatSpy shows the points figure on the availability calendar before you continue to ba.com to book.
As of October 2026, Club Suite is fitted like this. British Airways swaps aircraft, so the filter checks the specific flight on your date.
Heathrow routes where Club Suite is regularly scheduled include New York, Chicago, Cape Town, Singapore, Denver, Hong Kong, Delhi and Washington.
Search the route in SeatSpy, choose Business, and turn on Show Club Suite Only. Days that still show availability are days with a Club Suite flight. You can also open the day and read the individual flights. Checking the aircraft type and seat map by hand is the long way round, and it goes stale as soon as British Airways changes the aircraft.
In October 2026 British Airways announced the first refurbished A380, with a new First cabin and 106 Club Suite seats across the upper deck, and said that aircraft is due into service in the following months. Until a refurbished A380 is actually scheduled, A380 flights still have the older Club World seat. The filter follows the aircraft on your date, so Club Suite A380 flights appear as they join the schedule.
Every Club Suite seat has direct aisle access, in a 1-2-1 layout, so there is no seat where you have to climb over another passenger. A window seat away from the galley and the lavatory is the usual favourite. The centre pair suits two people travelling together, because the divider between those seats can be opened. Seat maps differ by aircraft, so confirm the seat on ba.com before you finish the booking.
Create an alert for a British Airways route, choose Business, and tick Filter Business to Club Suite only. You can set that on the outbound, the return, or both. SeatSpy emails you when matching seats appear. Premium alerts are sent within the hour. First Class alerts are sent as soon as we see the seats, and First Class members can also receive SMS. Telegram and WhatsApp are available on both paid plans, within the monthly limits shown on the pricing page.
Premium and First Class both include Club Suite search and Club Suite alerts. Economy, the free plan, does not. Premium includes four active alerts, with notifications within the hour. First Class includes unlimited alerts, instant notifications, a second email address, SMS, and British Airways Premium Plus Companion Voucher availability. New subscribers can start a 14-day free trial. Current monthly prices, US dollar prices, and annual billing are on the pricing page.
Yes. You can cancel a Premium or First Class subscription from your account page. The plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Club Suite reward seats are a fraction of the Business Class seats British Airways releases, and the good dates go quickly. The filter shows you those flights. The alert tells you when a new one appears.
